As the use of mobile handsets grow, (along with faster handset releases), push notifications only grow in importance as a channel for applications to communicate with and re-engage with the App users.
A push notification is a message that pops up on a mobile device. App publishers can send them at any time; users don’t have to be in the app or using their devices to receive them. They can do a lot of things; for example, they can show the latest promotions and offers, get a user to take an action on a limited time offer, and/or notify the users on a new service or product.
Push notifications look like SMS text messages and mobile alerts, but they only reach users who have installed the MyCaddie app and opted in to receive these notifications. Each mobile platform has support for push notifications — iOS, Android, Fire OS, Windows and BlackBerry all have their own services. When the notification is received if it is pressed it will open the App, and link to a webpage of your choice.
The Push Notification itself is a message of around 235 characters and we can schedule your campaigns to specific times and days of the month.
Once the push notification is received, the user either clicks or swipes the message which directs them to a landing page of your choice.
